Specialized universities are institutions that have specialized in certain fields and aim to develop high value-added products by utilizing regional resources in line with their areas of expertise. Designated as "specialized universities" by the Higher Education Council, these institutions typically operate in various sectors such as technology, energy, agriculture, and tourism. Through their projects, they collaborate with globally renowned brands to develop new products, thereby contributing to regional economic development and employment. For example, specialized universities may develop digital applications to support farmers in the agricultural sector, design new products in the healthcare industry, or implement projects to increase sports literacy. In doing so, they play a significant role in the branding process and make substantial contributions to regional development.
The mission of Digital Technologies in Healthcare as a priority area has been assigned to Eskişehir Osmangazi University by the Council of Higher Education under the project "Universities Specializing in Priority Areas." In this context, it is important to record the studies conducted in this field at our university.
