Özet

Figs are one of the most important agricultural products for our country. Dried figs, in particular, are one of our important export products. This study was conducted to determine the fruit quality of Fethiye Kaya, Bursa Siyahı, and Ronde de Bordeux fig varieties cultivated in Manisa province between 2024-2025. Pomological characteristics were examined for fruit weight (g), fruit width and length (mm), flesh firmness, and external color. Chemical values for fruit juice included pH, TA, and TSS. The highest fruit weight (94.24g) was obtained in the Bursa Siyahı variety. When examined for fruit width (5.83mm), length (5.82mm), flesh firmness (4.48Pa), and external color (32.96L), the Bursa Siyahı variety achieved the highest values. When looking at the chemical values, the highest value of fruit juice (6.74pH) and titratable acid (10.59TA) was obtained in the Bursa Black variety, and the highest value of water-soluble dry matter was obtained in the Ronde de Bordeux (22.96 g) variety. This study is a part of the master thesis of Onur Taktuk which was supervised by Volkan Okatan. The study was supported by Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit of Eskisehir Osmangazi University, Project code: FYL-2025-3362.
