Özet
Cadmium Oxide is an n-type semiconductor with a relatively low optical energy band
gap. Cadmium Oxide thin films were deposited onto glass substrates in a high vacuum
environment by using the thermionic vacuum arc (TVA) technique. The structural and
morphological properties of CdO thin film samples were investigated with X-Ray
diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS),
field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), and atomic force microscopy
(AFM). The thin films produced showed high homogeneity and good adhesiveness to the
substrate
