Özet

The purpose of this study was to examine the geometry self-efficacy levels of high school students in terms of some variables (gender, class level, support and latest exam mark). The data was provided by a Geometry Self-efficacy Scale developed by Gunhan and Baser (2007). The study was conducted on 208 students in the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th classes of a secondary education institution in Eskisehir, Turkey, in 2012-2013 academic year. To analyse the data ANOVA and an independent t-test were applied.A significant difference has been found in students'geometry self-efficacy beliefs according to their class level and the latest exam mark variables. On the other hand, there has been no significant difference in students'geometry self-efficacy beliefs according to their gender and the support they take.
