During the interaction of the employees in the work environment, some emotional states may arise due to themselves and organizational psychology. These emotional states can start from any employee and spread throughout the organization. This situation, which is described as emotional contagion, affects employees' work and private lives, and the effect of emotional contagion directs organizational behavior over time. The primary purpose of this research is to determine the impact of emotional contagion on positive and negative emotional states in organizations, which are of great importance in managing organizational behavior. To determine the dynamic conditions of the employees, the research is designed according to the cross-sectional scanning design, one of the quantitative research designs. The study sample was determined according to the simple random sampling technique, one of the probability sampling techniques. Data were collected with the help of online survey scales. The partial least squares path analysis (PLS-SEM) method was used to analyze the research model. Analysis findings showed that emotional contagion affected positive mood and did not affect negative mood.
