Özet

Spirulina is a blue-green alga (cyanobacteria) that has been eaten by humans for hundreds of years in the Kanem region of Chad and the lake region of Mexico. It is now sold worldwide as a health food, and its therapeutic potential in the treatment of various diseases is being evaluated. The worldwide consumption of Spirulina has clarified its potential side effects as well as its beneficial effects. This article presents a brief summary of the use of Spirulina in health care management.
