In this article elastic theory of concrete and estimation of static E-modulus with composite models for dam concrete were examined. As it is known concrete is a composite material, which has different phases so elastic theory was examined theoretical and these theoretical results were supported with empirical formulas, used for calculating static E-modulus, and composite models. Concrete behave elastically under load, up to a specific tensile strength, so it was seen that this behavior of concrete can be explained with composite models, but it was not enough. Especially for dam concrete elasticity tests were hard to conduct owing to inconvenient conditions in dam construction and for this reason calculation and estimation of E-modulus of concrete with composite models became important, but first it has to be improved considering uncertain results of wet sifting methods and also results must be evaluated again due to other factors that affect E-modulus of concrete.
