Özet
Abstract: This study was conducted to determine the helminth fauna of 65 Capoeta tinca (30 ♀♀, 35 ♂♂) collected from Seydi River (Eskişehir, Türkiye) between February and April 2017. A total of 20 fish (30.77%) were found to be infected with helminths. Four parasite taxa were identified, including the digenean Allocreadium isoporum and three nematodes, Contracaecum sp., Eustrongylides excisus and Rhabdochona denudata. Among these, Contracaecum sp. and E. excisus represent new host records for C. tinca in Türkiye. The detection of both previously reported and newly recorded taxa indicates that the helminth fauna of C. tinca in the Seydi River shows regional variation within the basin. These findings contribute to the knowledge of parasite biodiversity of freshwater fishes in Central Anatolia and provide baseline data for future ecological and parasitological studies in the region.
