Arapça bir kelime olan tasvir, canlı, cansız bütün varlıkları görünen yönü itibariyle en ince ayrıntısına kadar açıklama, yazılı veya sözlü olarak insan zihninde canlandırma eylemi olarak tanımlanabilir. Böylece kelimeler aracılığıyla okurun veya muhatabın zihninde ilgili anlatıma dair bir tasavvur oluşumu gerçekleşir. Roman, hikâye, şiir vb. yazınsal türlerde tasvir yapılırken teşbih, mecaz, kinaye, istiâre gibi edebî sanatlardan da faydalanılmaktadır. Bu anlatım biçimindeki başarı, müellifin seçmiş olduğu üslûba, dildeki açıklığa, akıcılığa, anlatımdaki tutarlılık ve canlılığa, kelime seçimindeki titizliğe, gereksiz ayrıntı ve abartılardan uzak durmaya bağlıdır. Çağdaşlarının arasından sıyrılıp alışılmışın dışındaki üslubuyla ön plana çıkan Abdülhakîm Kâsım, altmışlar kuşağının önde gelen simalarından biridir. Kısa bir yaşam süren Kâsım geride çok değerli çalışmalar bırakmıştır. Bu çalışmada tasvirli anlatımda başarısıyla kendisinden söz ettiren yazarımızın hayatı hakkında kısaca bilgi verilerek Muhâvele li’l-hurûc isimli Arapça romanında kullanmış olduğu tasvirlere dikkat çekilecektir. Çalışmamızda, romandaki abartılı, fazla detaya başvurulmuş tasvirlere yer verilmeyip yerinde ve yazarın başarılı olduğu betimlemelerin tercih edildiği bir metot benimsenmiştir. Bu şekilde müellifin Arap edebiyatında adından söz ettirmesine vesile olan edebî dili hakkında bilgi sunulması amaçlanmaktadır. Bununla birlikte bu çalışma sadece eser üzerine yapılan bir değerlendirmeden ibaret olmayıp nihai maksadı yazarın dili üzerinden yola çıkarak bulunduğu edebî ortamdaki ehemmiyetine ışık tutabilmek ve okuyucuya bu bağlamda bir fikir verebilmektir.
Arabic word of Tasweer (تصوير/Imagery), can be defined as "Describing all living and inanimate things down to the smallest detail in terms of their apparent aspect and visualizing them in the human mind, either orally or in writing". So, it is to ensure the formation of an imagination about the relevant expression in the mind of the reader or the receiver through words. When imagery is created in a novel, story, poem, etc., literary arts such as simile, metonymy, allusion, metaphor and "El- Taleel" are also used. The success in this form of expression depends on the style chosen by the author such as: language clarity, fluency, consistency in the expression, precision and particularity in the choice of words, avoiding unnecessary details and exaggerations. Standing out among his contemporaries with his extraordinary style, Abdel Hakim Qasem is one of the leading figures of the sixties generation. Qasem, who lived a short life, left behind many valuable works. In this study, a brief information about the life of our author, who has made a name for himself with his success in narration, and the descriptions he used in the novel called Muhawala le'l-khurooj will be highlighted. While exaggeration and descriptions that refer to so much details in the selection of the sentences will be avoided and the perfect descriptions in which the author is successful will be chosen. In this way, it is aimed to present information about the literary language that caused the author to be mentioned in Arabic literature. However, this study is not only an evaluation on the work, but its ultimate aim is to shed light on the importance of the author's literary environment based on the author's language and to give readers an idea of this context.
