ESOGU SMART
Sustainable Mobility and Analytic Research in Transportation at Eskişehir Osmangazi University is a research group focusing on public transportation systems, innovative transport solutions, urban mobility, and sustainable transportation. The group aims to enhance environmental, economic, and social sustainability by integrating theory and practice in transportation engineering.
Fields of Study and Objectives
- Promoting sustainable transportation modes and developing practical strategies.
- Contributing to the widespread adoption of walking, cycling, electric vehicles, and rail systems.
- Producing innovative solutions in smart transportation systems and technologies.
- Developing effective planning and engineering methods to address urban traffic and transportation issues.
- Conducting research to design environmentally friendly and efficient transportation infrastructure.
- Carrying out transportation master plans and parking master plans, while supporting local governments in policy development.
- Performing feasibility studies for transportation infrastructure and systems.
- Conducting comprehensive studies on traffic safety and circulation.

Group Members
The group consists of faculty members from the Department of Civil Engineering, Transportation Division at Eskişehir Osmangazi University, as well as undergraduate and graduate students engaged in related studies.
