Robotic machining has emerged as a transformative technology in manufacturing, offering unparalleled flexibility and adaptability compared to traditional CNC machines. This paper explores the importance of robotic machining, its advantages, limitations, and the key challenges that must be addressed for its widespread adoption. The discussion highlights the potential of robotic machining to complement and, in some cases, replace traditional machining methods, supported by advancements in control algorithms, stiffness enhancement, and sensor integration.
