Özet

Companies in the mining industry are being compelled to mine rheologically complicated ore bodies due to the ongoing depletion of high-grade mineral reserves. This has created further challenges in mineral processing, as these ores are more complex and often need to be ground to finer particle sizes, resulting in significant alterations to the rheology of the mineral slurry. The whole effect of inter-particle interactions, including the aggregation and dispersion states of the particles in the slurry, which are more significant under the fine-particle effect, has long been recognized as slurry rheology. Complex flow behaviors in slurries can impact the majority of unit activities, including grinding, classification and flotation.
