Abstract

Introduction: Hyperkalemia is a serious and frequent metabolic emergency which can cause life threatening cardiac rhythm abnormalities. There are several therapy options in the treatment of hyperkalemia, but there is no enough study which shows the efficacy of intravenous calcium treatment.
