The importance of electronics in the automotive industry is increasing day by day. The most important feature of
today's electronic systems is that many different components work in harmony. Even if the components work
internally, unforeseen problems occur when they come together. Encountering this problem in the automotive
industry leads to vital problems. The first of these problems is the communication problem. A common problem
in communication problems is communication delays. Communication delays delay the transfer of instant
vehicle information to the user and cause possible major problems not to be noticed by the user. On the basis of
these problems, different solutions have been produced. Different methods are presented and different protocols
are used. The most widely used communication method is Can Bus.
In this article, comparison of communication methods, detailed meaning and comparison of Can Bus
communication protocol are given. The reasons why it is the most common method, its ease of use and its
affinity for the automotive sector will be examined and necessary notes will be made
