Özet

Classic Kaposi's Sarcoma (KS) is a pigmented, multi-systemic low-grade vascular tumor often accompanied by skin lesions. A 52-year old patient diagnosed with classic KS was hospitalized due to gastrointestinal system (GIS) bleeding. Red-violet mass lesions were observed in esophagus and stomach of the patient, who also had two oropharyngeal nodular lesions, and biopsies were taken from the lesions. Pathology result was compatible with KS. Tomography analyses to detect were performed other possible invasion areas and revealed metastases in lung and liver. The patient was started to take the chemotherapy regimen including adriablastine, vincristine and bleomycin due to oropharynx, esophagus, stomach, lung and liver involvement of KS. Although visceral organ involvement is not frequently observed in classic KS, there is a case in the literature reporting involvement of the upper GIS, lung and liver together. With this aspect, our case is a remarkable one among other cases of classic KS with multiple visceral involvements.
