Özet

Diagnosis of pneumothorax, haemothorax and lung contusion by using ultrasound in cases with thoracic trauma takes part in emergency medicine and intensive care literature in the last decade. In addition to insufficient number of prospective, controlled studies about the topic, case reports are also few. In this case report, we present two male cases dispatched to our department because of penetrating thorax trauma with had normal lung sounds that finally diagnosed pneumothorax by ultrasonography.
