Özet

The aim of this research is to analyze the acquisitions contained in life science textbooks in terms of geographical skills. Primary school 1., 2., and 3. It is based on analyzing the achievements acquired by students in terms of geographical skills. The research process has been analyzed through document review, which is one of the qualitative research methods. Within the framework of the 2018 Life Science curriculum, life science textbooks taught in the 2019-2020 academic year were examined in this context. During the examination of the activities included in the textbooks, it was also checked whether they were prepared within the framework of the 2018 Life Science course curriculum. However, the importance of acquiring geographical skills at a young age, that is, in early childhood, also reveals an undeniable reality. The persistence of skills acquired in childhood makes a great contribution to the later periods of age. From this point of view, life Knowledge course is of great importance in terms of geographical skills. Given the breadth of learning capacity in children, it can be said that the acquired skills will gradually bring with them high-level intellectual skills in the same direction. It is only one of the results of the research that extracurricular learning environments will be kept alive in the life science lesson, and its contribution to learning is also extremely high. Since the results of the study will have a significant impact on the learning capacity of children in the first stage of learning, the value of the geographical skills acquisitioned in the Life Science course and the acquisitions that are desired to be acquired is quite large. This study is of great importance, as the content of newly written textbooks will be established more activity-based, which will allow the individual to carry the knowledge learned in theory to the application field.
