Özet

Schiff base derivatives of benzothiazole 2a-e have been synthesized by reacting with substituted 2-aminobenzothiazole 1a-e and different substituted benzaldehydes 5a-e. The obtained Schiff bases reaction with NaBH4 has afforded the corresponding some novel amines 3a-e. The condensation of amines with chloroacetylchloride leads to novel amide derivatives 4a-e. The structures of the synthesized compounds are characterized by elemental analysis, IR, MS, H-1 NMR and C-13 NMR. (C) 2012 Production and hosting by Elsevier B. V. on behalf of King Saud University.
