Abstract

We designed this longitudinal study as a response to measles outbreaks which occur occasionally in Eskisehir in Turkey to investigate the incidence of primary and secondary vaccine failure. The investigation was conducted over two periods (December 1993 to October 1994 and April 1995 to October 1995). Two study groups were involved, infants aged 9-11 months and children aged 18 months to 9 y.
