This study aimed to introduce a new version of timelike tubular surfaces in E-1(3). Firstly, we define a new adapted frame along a spacelike space curve, and denote this the q-frame. We then derive a relationship between the Frenet frame and the q-frame. Finally, we obtain a parametric representation of a timelike directional tubular surface.
