Abstract

Water-distilled essential oils from the aerial parts of Salvia limbata from two areas in eastern Turkey were analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Forty-eight and 42 components were characterized representing 95.6-98.1% of the compounds characterized in the oils with alpha-pinene (11.2-24.3%), beta-pinene (10.0-20.9%) and sabinene (14.6-17.4%) as major constituents.
