Abstract

Water-distilled essential oil from aerial parts of Stachys laetivirens Kotschy & Boiss. ex Rech. fil. (Labiatae) was analysed by GC and GC/MS. Sixty-one compounds were characterized representing 85.4% of the oil. The main constituents were found to be nonacosane (23.1%) and phytol (17.9%). Copyright (C) 2004 John Wiley Sons, Ltd.
