Özet

The increasing demand for energy-efficient products makes the effective use of energy in product life cycles an important factor in design processes. This issue is generally addressed by analysis of the energy efficiency of the previously designed product and subsequent design improvement. Considering energy efficiency in the previous stage can be significant in terms of market dominance, while adding to the complexity of the design process. Energy efficiency in today's local language is often associated with environmentally friendly or green values, as it refers specifically to natural resources. Efficiency is defined as utilizing various energy sources while limiting waste when processes that use or convert this energy are taken into account. As referring the hydraulic efficiency, factors that directly affect the fluid power of hydraulic systems such as machine requirements, motors and pumps are considered. Generally, the concept of hydraulic is not an efficient technology because a significant amount of power is lost in the process of converting energy. In this sense, hydraulic efficiency can be questioned as an oxymoronic term. However, hydraulic efficiency can also be defined in relation to the progress made to research different materials, designs and produce new systems with increased energy efficiency characteristics.
