Özet

This study aimed to examine the mediating role of hopelessness in the relationship between life skills, career adapt-ability, and unemployment anxiety among senior prospective teachers using alternative models. A correlational design is preferred as a research model. Data were collected from 306 prospective teachers. Data were collected using the “Unemployment Anxiety Level Test,” the “Career Adapt-Ability Scale,” the “Life Skills Scale,” and the “Beck Hopelessness Scale.” Following the preliminary analysis, the two-stage structural equation modeling is used in data analysis. Findings reveal that hopelessness plays a mediating role in the relationship between career adaptability and life skills with unem-ployment anxiety
