Four hundred and two parents answered the questionnaire and their children were examined by dermatologists. Restilts: The prevalence of wart found to be lO.9%. No positive relation was detected between wart and gender and age. In 68.2% of the children, the warts were located on hands. There was a significant correlation between the presence of a family member who wears slipper and attend to Turkish bath regularly and prevalence of wart. Only 13% of children had visited the doctor to treat their warts previously. Conclusion: The present search showed that wart is a frequent problem in research group. This frequency was above the expected rate for primary school children.
