Türkiye, demir-çelik sektöründeki üretim miktarıyla Dünyada önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Bu nedenle, demir-çelik firmalarının finansal performanslarına göre değerlendirilmesi bu çalışmanın amacı olmuştur. Borsa İstanbul’da işlem gören beş demir-çelik firmasının (ERGL, ERBOS, KRDMD, CEMTS, ISDMR) 2016-2022 dönemini kapsayan 7 yıllık verileri analize dâhil edilmiştir. Yapılan Gri ilişkisel analiz sonuçlarına göre ele alınan finansal oranlar bazında en iyi performans gösteren firma “CEMTS” olmuştur. Diğer firmaların performansları sıralaması ERBOS, ISDMR, EREGLI ve KRDMD şeklinde devam etmektedir.
Turkey occupies an important place in the world with its production amount in the iron and steel sector. Therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluate iron and steel companies according to their financial performance. 7-year data covering the period 2016-2022 of five iron and steel companies (ERGL, ERBOS, KRDMD, CEMTS, ISDMR and İZDMC) traded in Borsa Istanbul were included in the analysis. According to the results of the Gray relational analysis, the best performing company on the basis of financial ratios was "CEMTS". The performance ranking of other companies continues as ERBOS, ISDMR, EREGLI and KRDMD.
