Özet

Nonneoplastic kidney diseases encompass a broad spectrum of disorders affecting the glomeruli, tubules, interstitium, and vasculature without the presence of neoplastic proliferation. These conditions include glomerulonephritides, tubulointerstitial nephritis, diabetic nephropathy, hypertensive nephrosclerosis, and hereditary disorders such as Alport syndrome and polycystic kidney disease. Morphologic evaluation through light microscopy, immunofluorescence, and electron microscopy remains central to diagnosis. Understanding the underlying pathogenic mechanisms—including immune complex deposition, complement activation, ischemia, and metabolic injury—is crucial for accurate classification and effective treatment. This chapter outlines the clinicopathologic features, classification systems, and diagnostic approach to nonneoplastic renal diseases, emphasizing their relevance in nephrology and pathology practice.
