Özet

People who live in a social order realize within the system of unity brought by the community. The society, which is the expression of unity, reveals places where people can share together. These spaces are shaped by the culture of the society and become a part of the society together with its users. One of the factors that hold the society together and is influenced by culture is the phenomenon of religion. Religion is very effective in creating shared spaces. Religious places can be seen as a place where people can experience their own spiritual feelings and also allow some common sharing with other people in the society. The architectural elements that make up the space give direction to the behaviors of the user. In this way, the way of experiencing space and the forms of sharing will be changed. The churches, which are accepted as the places of Christian religion, have different connotations in their users with their architectural styles. The architectural style of the building gives the building a character. This character guides the user's attitude and attitude. Within the scope of the study, Saint Antoine Church in Beyoglu, where Istanbul is home to many cultures, was examined. Saint Antoine Church is a church with Neo-Gothic architecture and is still open to use. Survey method was applied within the scope of the study. A survey of the interior and exterior of the church was carried out with the students of architecture. The reason for its application to architecture students; As the level of education increases, it is to see what changes occur in the perception of the structure. The data obtained as a result of the survey was evaluated by SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) analysis. The data obtained are expressed in tables.
