Thermal Image of Copper-Sepiolite Surface Using Multi Channel Thermal Microscope

Multi Channel Thermal Microscope (MCTM) is a novel device establishing temperature topography of the surface of the sample. The MCTM consists of a probe system, a manipulator which provides the motion of the probe system in the z direction, some measurement devices and a computer. The probe system measures the temperature on a few point of surface of the material and obtained data are processed in the computer by using the software program which was improved by us. Eventually, the temperature topography of the surface of the material is obtained. Some physical parameters of the sample like heat conductivity can also be calculated by the MCTM. In this study, the thermal image of a copper-sepiolite surface was obtained by the MCTM.
