Özet

Abstract. Distance Education (DE) is a process operated by a software called Learning Management System (LMS). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many educational institutions are currently seeking to procure an LMS in order to switch to the DE system or to renew their existing software. Since multiple criteria are taken into consideration in the LMS purchasing process, this can be considered as a Multiple Criteria Decision Making problem. In this study, it is aimed to determine the priorities for the criteria to be used in the LMS selection problem which is considered as Multiple Criteria Decision Making Problem. After the criteria (such as software features, service support and costing) are defined and relations between them are identified; Analytic Network Process (ANP) approach was taken in determining the priorities of the criteria, since the criteria require pairwise comparison and mutual interaction. As a result of the study, the priorities of the criteria were determined.
