Joint attention is the ability to communicate in a co-ordinated way, through verbal expressions or gestures, pointing and shifting gaze. For joint attention, the shared message must reach both people in a correct and meaningful way. Individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) have limitations in joint attention skills. Therefore, it is important to teach joint attention skills to individuals with ASD. The aim of this study was to determine the opinions of special education teachers in Turkey about an intervention for the joint attention skills of individuals with ASD through augmented reality technology. For this purpose, an introductory brochure about the intervention was prepared. After the introductory brochures were distributed to the teachers, a video clip created from the sessions selected from the experimental process was shown to the teachers. In the prepared clips, subtitles and voice-overs were used and the faces of the students were hidden. Teachers reported their opinions about the intervention by participating in the questionnaire prepared on the online platform. The collected data were analysed descriptively using percentage and frequency. The data obtained will be shared during the presentation and suggestions will be made.
