Abstract

Waste materials are produced based on household and industrial manufacturing

operations in the world. Amount of these waste materials increase day by day. However, areas

where waste materials are deposited decrease and reuse of them is limited. Waste materials are

tried to consume using various methods. Generally, waste tires are consumed by burning.

Despite this method is easy and cheap, burning of tires cause the environment pollution

problem. Researches have made about availability and recycling of waste materials as

construction materials over the last three decades. In this study, effect of waste tires which

have different shape and dimension was investigated in asphalt concrete. Test specimens were

subjected to Marshall Tests and creep tests, and results were exposed.
