Özet

The accessibility of urban areas and structures has an important place not only for the disabled people, but also for the elderly, children and all individuals. Today, although there are laws and regulations that protect the rights of people with disabilities, there are shortcomings in the implementation of these legislation. In this study, Eskisehir Odunpazari Urban Site and Kursunlu Complex which are visited by many local and foreign tourists are examined in terms of accessibility in the context of wheelchair users. The obtained data is evaluated, then solutions and suggestions are provided for situations where accessibility cannot be achieved.
