The aim of this article is to analyse the phenomenon of trust in the psycho-pedagogical and socio-theological dimensions from the perspective of the psychology of religion and values. Within this scope, the phenomenon of trust in terms of psychology has been interpreted in the context of Bowlby's Attachment Theory, Erikson's Psychosocial Development Theory, and Maslow's Need Hierarchy Theory in the article. As a result, this article highlights that (a) trust psychologically means the positive expectation of the individual from the other individuals and his/her psychological sensitivity regarding with this expectation; as well as the phenomenon of trust also emphasizes an emotional commitment, representing a sincere interest for the individuals; (b) pedagogically, trust is a transferable value in the context of values education; (c) sociologically, trust is closely related with social capital for every layer of society; (d) theologically, religious beliefs give emotionally the sense of 'security and safety' to the individual.
