A study was conducted on actor crossed modules of commutative algebras. Multiplication algebras were used to generalize some aspects from commutative algebras to crossed modules of commutative algebras. The generalization could be applied to the Peiffer pairings in the Moore complex of a simplical commutative algebra. The generalization also led to the notion of the actor crossed square which was the annihilator of the commutative algebras.
