Abstract

The use of Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is becoming popular during last decades. Neural Networks have been trained to perform complex functions in various fields including; control, robotics, pattern recognition, forecasting, medicine, power systems, manufacturing. In addition to the application area of the ANN, it has been used by many researchers for modelling and prediction in the thermal systems. In this study; the network structure, training algorithm, activation function, performance function, layer numbers of various studies are compared by considering the applications in thermal systems.
