Abstract

Hypereosinophilic syndrome (HES) is a rare disorder characterized by eosinophilia >= 1500/mm(3) at complete blood count (CBC) for more than six months, exclusion of other hypereosinophilic etiologies like parasitic infections, allergic conditions and the presence of signs and sypyoms of major organ involvement. Here we present a patient with HES with the involvement of skin and lung and, unexpectedly, involvement of heart while on steroid theraphy.
