Abstract

In this study, because of its chemical resistance, thermal stability, low flammability, good mechanical properties, low cost and easy fiber production, polyacrylonitrile (PAN) was preferred in addition to three different paint types (bromophenol blue, BFB, Congo red, CR and victoria blue B, VBB) and an organic pollutant (4-nitrophenol, 4-NP). In the light of this information, with this study, it is aimed to obtain smooth and beadless nanofibers with PAN polymer, followed by modification of the membranes and removal of BFB, CR, VBB and 4-NP with high efficiency.
