Abstract

Objective: Hyperthyroidism causes secondary osteoporosis. The aims of our study were to asses how frequent osteoporosis is seen in hyperthyroidism, can euthyroidism reverse bone loss in hyperthyroid osteoporotic patients, do anti resorptive agents provide additional benefit when added to antithyroid drugs and if so which one is most beneficial.
