Özet

The astrophysical <^> 40 Ca * (p, gamma) <^> 41 * Sc reaction was investigated through an asymptotic normalization coefficient (ANC) analysis of the <^> 40 Ca * (a, t) <^> (dt) * Sc transfer reaction at E_{a} = 40MeV The available angular distributions were analyzed within the finite-range distorted-wave Born approximation using several global optical-model potentials for the a+<^> 40 Cx entrance channel and a global triton potential for the t+<^> 41 Sc exit channel. The analysis included the ground state of <^> 41 SC and the excited states at E_{x} = 1.716, 2.096 and 2.882 MeV, with particular emphasis on the 1.716 and 2.882 MeV levels corresponding to the Eath=647 and 1842 keV proton-capture resonances. The spectroscopic factors and single-particle wave functions obtained from the transfer calcu-lations were used to determine the proton ANCs. For the ground state, the squared ANC was found to be C_{p} <^> 2 = 294.8 plus/minus 29.5 * f * m <^> -1 in close agreement with the previously reported value of 286.9f * m <^> -1 A bound-state-geometry study showed that, although the fitted spectroscopic factor changes strongly with the single-particle ANC, the extracted C * <^> 2 varies only from approximately 0.94 to 1.10 of its reference value, supporting the peripheral character of the ground-state transfer. The extracted ANCs were subsequently used to determine proton partial widths at the rel-evant center-of-mass resonance energies. For the E_{x} = 1.716MeV J<^> * = 3/2 <^> -1 state, the result-ing width is I_{p} = 2.16 plus/minus 0.22 * cV approximately 20% below the adopted literature value. For the E_{x} = 2.882MeV J <^> * =7/2<^> * state, the calculation gives V_{p} = 0.09 plus/minus 0 * cV in agreement with the available experimental values. These results provide independent proton-channel constraints for two astrophysically relevant resonances in the ``` Ca * (p, gamma) <^> 41 : Sc reaction and demonstrate the usefulness of transfer-reaction ANCs for constraining reaction inputs in the A \approx 40 mass region.
