Özet

In this study firstly the year 2008 financial economic crisis is dealt and its reflections on tourism sector are mentioned at global level. Secondly its reflections on Turkey's tourism sector are explained in the light of first hand data gathered via questionnaires and second hand data gathered from Ministry of Tourism and Culture and Turkish Statistics Institution. It is found out that this financial economic crisis affected tourism badly at global level, but Turkish tourism sector was affected slightly.
