Özet:
In this project, it is aimed to recovery of shape of grey level images using signal processing techniques. This problem is named as "shape from shading" problem. For this reason, we work on "Plates Method" which is proposed to-solve this problem previously(Canbek,1999) and proposed a technique to improve this method. Plates method founds a solution of partial differential equation. To find a correct solution depends on the initial conditions. In this study, we have drawn iso-brightness contours of images and applied as initial conditions of orientation and hight of plates. However, we made applications on some real images.
