Özet:

This thesis contains of six chapters. In the first chapter, we recalled the finite differences, finite elements methods and give the properties of spline and B-spline functions. Then we recalled quadratic and cubic, B-spline functions and Burgers's' equation. In the second chapter, application of cubic B-spline collocation method on finally the numerical solutions of space-splitted Burgers' equation is studied. In the fourth chapter, Burgers' equation solved by using cubic spline collocation. In the fifth chapter the numerical solutions of Burgers' equation by using extended cubic B-spline collocation method was investigated and finally in the sixth chapter we compare the results.
