Born in Izmir, in 1978. In 2000, Kınam received her BA from Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, Graphic Design at Bilkent University in 2000. She studied further 2008 completed her MFA from Dokuz Eylul University, Institute of Fine Arts, Graphic Design. In 2015, she received her Proficiency in Art's degree, in Graphic Design, at Anadolu University.
While attaining her master’s, she worked as a designer in Santex Moden, in Aachen Germany, with Erasmus Training Programme. She volunteered for EVS Action 2 project and worked at Plas Lluest Daily Centre with mentally disabled people for 12 months, in Aberystwyth, Wales. At that time, she took Land Art, Printmaking and Life drawing courses at the University of Aberystwyth.
Since 2000 she has worked as a graphic designer and art director in advertising agencies and between 2006 – 2009 she gave courses at graphic design department, İzmir University of Economics.
Kınam’s works have been displayed at national and international exhibitions and she holds awards from poster designs. Her field of study is graphic design, with a focus on multidisciplinary art & design works, experimental graphic design and typography, sustainable design and socially responsible design. Currently she has been working as an assistant professor in the Department of Visual Communication Design at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Art and Design.
