Assoc. Prof. HAKAN ACAROĞLU

Biography

Currently, Dr. Acaroğlu is an associate professor of Economics at the Eskisehir Osmangazi University. In 2002, he obtained a B.S. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the Eskisehir Osmangazi University, in Eskisehir, Turkey. He joined the Department of Economics at the Eskisehir Osmangazi University as a research assistant in 2003 and received a M.S. in Economics in 2005. In 2010, he completed his Ph.D. in Economics at the Anadolu University, in Eskisehir, Turkey. In June 2011, Dr. Acaroğlu started work as an assistant professor of Economics at the Eskisehir Osmangazi University. In April 2018, he became an associate professor of Economics. His research interests are Economic Growth, Mathematical Economics, and Energy Economics. He more specifically focuses on Engineering Economics, Renewable Energy, Electricity Markets, Human Capital, and Environmental Issues with Sustainable Development.
