Welcome to Agro-food Supply Chains Working Groups!

Achieving agriculture and food production to feed a growing population without pushing pressure on natural resources, maintaining the income level of producers on the one hand and ensuring that consumers have access to healthy and affordable food on the other, and coping with multiple crises is today's biggest challenge and research area. Sustainable agricultural production, combating climate change, rural development and meeting the food needs of urban people require sustainable food supply systems and alternative supply chains under these systems. By gathering our academic and practical work that we have been carrying out with national and international researchers for a long time under this working group, we aim to both introduce and extend what we have done and make it more effective.
