Biography
Dr. Eyüp Çinar received his Bachelor's degree from Eskişehir
Osmangazi University Electrical-Electrical and Computer Engineering departments
in 2008 with a double major program. With the Fulbright scholarship he received,
he completed his Master's Degree in Electrical and Microelectronics Engineering
at Rochester Institute of Technology in New York, USA in 2010. He continued his
doctorate in the Microsystems Engineering department of the same university and
completed his doctoral research in 2015. Subsequently, he gained industrial
experience in various companies as a Senior Engineer for about four years in
the USA. He gained industrial experience in manufacturing defect detection,
classification and process control at the world-famous GLOBALFOUNDRIES microchip
manufacturing factory in New York. Later, he continued to work as a Senior Data
Scientist at the R&D center of ASML-HMI, which operates in the Silicon
Valley of the USA. He returned to Türkiye within the scope of the TÜBİTAK project
call 2232 International Leading Researchers Program, also known as the reverse
brain drain program, opened by TÜBİTAK in 2019, and started to work as a
faculty member in the Computer Engineering Department of the Eskişehir
Osmangazi University. He recieved his Associate Professorship (Docent) title in August 2023. Dr. Eyüp Çinar has been elected as a Senior member of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and holds internationally accepted patents,
awards and various academic publications.
